Alex Galiceanu treats each person he works with as if they were the only person in the room. From the moment he meets a client he taps into his extensive knowledge of the real estate market and makes it his goal to meet their expectations with absolute professionalism. An effective multi-tasker with superb organizational skills, Alex is definitely an "out-of-the box" thinker. He uses the analytical skills, he developed as an IT consultant, to "problem-solve" and find ways to get the best deal for those who engage his service.

His patience and his easy-going attitude immediately puts people at ease, and helps them to feel comfortable sharing the details of their situation and expressing what is most important to them. Whether they’re looking to rent, buy or sell a home or simply looking for advice, he makes himself available and shares his intimate knowledge of the most current industry trends.

Alex has a B.A. in Business Administration from Hofstra University, with a major in Network Security and a minor in Finance. Before joining Manhattan Apartments, he was a consultant, specializing in Network Security Systems. Born in Romania, his family relocated to New York in 1985, but returned to Europe each summer.

He developed a passion for Old World, Art-Deco and Renaissance architecture. One day, he would like to work on a development project that embodies the character and detail of 14th and 15th century architecture — incorporating ultra new technology and environmentally "green" design.

Alex travels abroad whenever he has a chance, which gives him a diverse and broad perspective. The majority of the people who come to MAI looking for an apartment are from out of state or other countries. He can relate, personally, to the challenges they face when dealing with a new job, new environment, and a new language.

He has rented or sold apartments in every single small neighborhood in the city and can give detailed information about each one. Alex keeps in touch with his rental clients and many return to him when they’re ready to move to a larger rental or purchase a home.
